Psychology tailored to the realities of service life

Specialist psychology for police, first responders, veterans, ADF members and their families — led by someone who has lived in this world. You don’t need to explain the job first. We start from understanding, and we work at a pace that suits you.

Standard mental health services often don't understand

The language, the values, the long hours, the use of dark humour to cope. You don’t need to translate the job and way of life, that part is already understood — so the work can start where it matters.

about me

Dr Tarmala Caple

I’m a clinical and forensic psychologist — and a former police officer and the spouse of an a serving ADF member.  I’ve worked the shifts, waited up for the call, and carried the weight that comes home with it. As someone who has lived this world, I understand it from the inside.
